HWC x Elissa AlvaFor the record, their are a first for everything. Today I had my first clothing line shoot with Hundred Weight Classics clothing and Elissa Alva as my model. I must say, you learn and grow as you experience certain situations. I don't normally do this because it's not my type of style, scene, or whatever you want to call it, but it's always good to be open minded. Trying new things are usually more memorable so I want to Thank Elissa & Marvin for taking their time to help me photograph. I want to Thank Don for giving me a clothing line to shoot with regardless of the situation being handed down to me. I mean, it could of easily been any photographer, but I was chosen to, so I am very thankful for that opportunity. Thanks to Eric for covering me at work while I can still pursue my dreams.

A few notes I might add;
1. Have the right lens for the right job. It will make it a lot easier for you and the model to get the job faster and hassle free.
2. Tones play a big part. Wether your going for natural light or off flash storbe work, tones give a big part in a photoshoot. They will give you a different emotion and compliment each other. For the most part, I really like shooting natural light.
3. Keep shooting, keep shooting, keep shooting. You will often have an expression that is perfect in your eyes and the other photos not as great.
Afterwards, since we were hungry we got a quick bite to eat at Johnny Rockets. Walked around and hit up a few spots. Met up with Chris & Kayla and ate at some pretty good Ramen at Shoki Ramen House. Afterwards, hit up Target for a few things and met Elissa's family. Nice and and probably the nicest mom I ever meet. Not a bad day.
