Half way

Happy 4th of July all. Were pretty much half way done with 2011 and it's gone by pretty quick. Spent most of my time getting some rest and chilled for the most part. Headed out to Berkeley to meet up with Ron. Went to his aunts place to grab his car and to his place to get a few things. Afterwards, went to Treasure Island early since I knew for a fact it was going to be crowded and packed. It was clear, but then the wind started to pick up. While enjoying my view of the city skyline, met Charles who was a retired, but has been doing photography for many years. Pretty chill and nice guy.

While anticipating the fireworks, we didn't know exactly where they were going to set it off. When it hit 9:30, the fireworks started to show. It was at Pier 39 so I was really hoping for a longer length of lens, but it's fine. I worked with what I had. One thing I really wanted the firewords to be apart of the San Francisco skyline, but again, I worked with what was given to me. Once the fireworks were done, headed back to the car and waited about 30-45 minutes because I knew it was going to be traffic headed back to Rons. David met up with us and talked for a good minute. Congrats to you & Lulu on your 6 year anniversary. Took some photos of the structure woman that was lightling up. Not a bad day, minus the wind. Next time I shall be more prepared for sure.
