Celebrate
Since today marks Day 364 of 365, I felt it was only right to celebrate a day early since tomorrow is Day 365 of 365. I can finally say I completed a 365. Now of course, what's a great way to celebrate something you know you have been working on all year long? Go some where you never been before, but always wanted to. Luckily for Mindy & I, Fentons Creamery is in our area. For those who don't know, Fentons has been around for a very long time and has spotted in Pixars UP! It's a resturant with good food and desserts. When Mindy & I got there, it was packed. We thought we were going to have to wait to be seated, but since it was us two, we got seated right away. Their food was decent, but of course they're best known for their ice cream. We ordered the Banana Special which consists of three huge ice cream scoops of strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate along with toppings, the works. Oh boy, not only was it amazing - the only way I can describe it was it put me in a food coma and that rarely happens. I highly recommend anyone that loves ice cream to stop by and try it, worth every penny no matter how long you wait.After resting for a while, Mindy wanted to stop by Haight street since both of us haven't been there in a while. Stopped by the local stores and Mindy ended up getting TRUE sweaters and shirts. Since Stussy had the Beavis and Butthead collaboration, I decided to get the white collaboration shirt and it was the last since. Luckily for me, since I know some of the workers, they took care of us and gave us a discount which you can never go wrong. Afterwards, Mindy wanted to check out the new Forever 21 that replaced the Virgin Records downtown. The new Forever 21 had three stories and it was weird because I use to buy Cd's when I was younger and now it's a clothing store. Although it's nice to see it expand, who knows what might replace the other Forever 21. After shopping and checking out other stores, decided to drive back home. All in all, a very pleasing and satisfying day.
