Christmas Eve
Had work today and it was straight chaos, but thankfully I don't have work tomorrow of course. After work, I headed back home to get ready since Mindy & I were both invited to K.J's family Christmas Eve party. Since we were told last minute, we headed out to Target to grab a few things. When we got to K.J's family party, I must say it was very chill and relaxed - I mean every family has their own way of celebrating Christmas or the holidays in general and it was really nice of her to invite us and spend time with her family and friends.They had a white elephant and of course you never know what you end up getting and that's the fun part. They also had this game I never played were you put in two dollars and they read off this story and you end up with another random gift which is fun and cool. Right when it hit midnight, they pick a Santa to hand out the gifts and when all gifts were handed out, then you can open your presents. Since Mindy & I meet K.J's family for the first time, we were surprised to even get some money and gift cards. They say the holidays are best spent with family and tonight felt like I was apart of a family thanks to K.J. & Mitch. Be happy and thankful because someone else is probably having it harder than you do. With that being said, stay safe, Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it and Happy Holidays all!
