Daily Adventures 004
The day of the Retro Air Jordan 1 release was one very long day. I woke up around 5 in the morning. I was hoping luck was on my side trying to get a pair online. Unfortunately had no luck and resorted to my second plan and waiting in line. I don't recall when was the last time I actually camped out for shoes. Nonetheless it was only for a few hours or so. I was mainly trying to get a pair for my co-worker and homie Mike. I knew it meant a lot to him so I went out my way of getting a pair for him.At my local mall, I was lucky enough to get my pair with barely anyone in line. Afterwards, went home to chill and relax. From there I decided to help another homie of mines grab his pair since he was stuck at work. Since my homie Ant wears the same size shoe as me, I had my pair on hold at Undefeated. This was actually the first time Mindy and me stopped by the store. The staff was pretty chill and got my pair with ease. Afterwards, decided to shop around Haight Street to see if there was anything new. Mindy got a hoodie at True while I got a True shirt that has a Super Mario theme to it.
Since we got hungry, decided to grab a bite at King Of Thai and head to Joey and Krystle's house. Around 8 at night, had to meet up my homie Ant for his pair of I's. After talking for a bit, headed back to Joey and Krystle's place to catch up on a few things. Since it was getting late and I was tired, decided to head home after a long day. Although I got my pair of I's, I believe grabbing two pairs for my homies, was a great deed. Sometimes going out your way for other people who really want something is a great feeling.
