Year in Review : 2014
Man oh man what a year 2014 has been for me. It's been nothing but an amazing and blessing year. 2014 was one of those years were I believed that I grew and matured but a lot of uncertainly and self-doubt had it's role many times. See the thing is as an artist you will always doubt your work. It's inevitable. You get distracted and start comparing yourself to others. As you continue your journey as an artist (In my case a photographer), you will have high and low moments. Moments that no one else can capture or go through. Towards the end of the year, one of the greatest things about being a photographer is reflecting at all the moments and memories that I have photographed and reminding myself that I shouldn't doubt myself at all. Again you will have high and low moments but it's apart of the journey.Now as for goals, I'm going to be making a bunch of achievable ones but I have to work twice as hard and not get distracted in order to get there. As 2014 comes to an end and we will be entering 2015 shortly, I just wanna say thank you for all the blessings I have had this years. To all the photography blessings and opportunities such as events, concerts and especially weddings. Weddings alone had such a huge impact on me this year. A few years ago I could only wish and dream of photographing them, and here I am now photographing them. I even booked a wedding for next year in Hawaii as my first destination wedding, like seriously WOW! That part I'm still ecstatic.
To the many new friends and friendships I have met and gained from, thats something I will always appreciate, always. And my family, friends and supporters, I couldn't thank you enough. Really I can't. Hearing the kind words really goes a long way. For 2015, I simply want the same thing but even bigger and better. With that being said, I can't wait to see what 2015 has in store for me. Stay humble, play and grind from time to time, but work even harder than the next person. And as always enjoy. Cheers!
