020 of 366 || Socal Day 001
Oh what a day it has been! Last night, I ended up not going to sleep since I had to be at Joey's house since Mindy and me are leaving to Disneyland/Socal area. After packing, saving original photos onto my external hard drive, and getting ready I left my house around 5 something in the morning. Got to Joey's, waited and chilled until his other friends came to his house. Since I didn't end up getting no sleep, I was tired as hell, but knowing Joey, I was awake the whole time. We left around 7 in the morning and had to be at Ocena to pick up Krystle. On our way, Joey was rushing and since his car is lowered, he hit a dip. Hitting the dip causing his oil pan to crack. We were stuck for about 30 minutes, but luckily, Joey's friend was only 20 minutes away. Within that time, a tow truck came and got Joey's car to the nearest auto mechanic. Put most of our belongings in Jay's car and headed down to Santa Barbara.On our way to Santa Barbara, we stopped by The Splash Cafe, which consist of seafood. Their known for their clam chowder and it was pretty decent. After eating, we headed down to Disneyland and if you're from or have been in Los Angeles area, you know the traffic sucks. We got stuck in traffic tons of times. Since we were in a rush because of our reservations, we were late but still made it on time. The main reason why we were anxious was because Joey booked the Mickey Mouse Penthouse Suite which is $3,500 a night! When we got to the hotel, we were greeted and shown to our suite. The lady was very friendly and told us she loved her job very much. On our way to going to the suite, we were also presented with free food and the course always changes. When we got to the suite, I was simply blown away! I instantly endulge and took my time to take photos. I was simply ecstatic! Me and Jay took many photos and Krystle and Joey decided to go swimming while I just took photos. Afterwards, went back to the suite, wait partied the night away since it was Joey's 21st birthday and watched the fireworks!
I had a difficult time deciding on one photo what my 366 entry would be. I wanted one photo to help me challenge myself in narrowing it down to one. I decided to have the Mickey Mouse Penthouse Suite. It's just a joy to actually spend a night here knowing that only 5% of the world only experience what we were going to experience. The view from the window as well shows Disneyland and did I mention fireworks! Tomorrow shall be a fun filled day at Disneyland, stay tuned!
