Started my day by packing and getting ready for I Love City Festival. Not only that, I'm staying at my homie Ryan's place in San Mateo for the next few days to save gas and not really dealing with the commute. Had work at 4 p.m. and closed with Mike. After work headed to Eric's place since he was letting me borrow his 80-200mm F/2.8 just in case. Rather be safe then sorry really. Talking to his mom for a bit and his dog Lucky. After stopping by Eric's, headed to San Mateo to chill, eat and relax while I spend my first night.
Through out the day, my mind was somewhere else. I was more nervous than excited. I honestly don't know that to expect since this is one of the biggest events I have ever photographed. With good friends and company such as Steph and Mike, they made me feel less nervous and more excited. Steph told me, "You worked hard for this, it wasn't like it was given to you." Mike said, "For all those blog entries and those times you're out shooting and practicing, lead to this point." It's kind words and encouragement make me feel at place were I should be. So Thank you Eric for letting me borrow your lens, when this event means so much too me. Thank you to Mike and Steph for encouraging me means a lot. Thanks Ryan for letting me stay at your place. With that in mind, Stay Driven!
