Daily Adventures 030

A case of Mondays were it wasn't the best. My first class, we had to do presentations and my partner doesn't show up. Pretty upset overall about the situation through out class, so afterwards I went to clear some steam and go photograph. It keeps me relaxed and helps me clear my mind. After shooting, decided to head to the public library to work on some photos. From there headed to my second class. Right across the street, there is this small cafe restaurant that is starting to become my favorite because I always order their turkey sandwich. My second class was pretty chill, just ended up talking and watching films. After class went to see if there was anything new and met up with Mindy. Since we were both tired, headed home to get some rest.

Yesterday I had work in the morning until the afternoon with Brandon. It was a pretty chill day. After work, headed to Eric's place to chill for a while. Jullian was there as well. Didn't do much but talk and chill before I headed out to Embarcadero around 6:00 p.m. Since they both wanted to go eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, I decided to pass and go photograph Bay Area's Bay Bridge LED Lightning at Embarcadero. First met up with Dillian first, then Carl and then Nikk and his friends. The weather was calm until an hour or so before the show, it was, as many would say "The calm before the store."

Everything was set up from my tripod to my camera settings. Before you know it, it started to rain along with high winds. Couldn't get any worst? Think again. The high winds started to make the water splash about 10 to 20 feet high. My shoes, pants, and even my camera got completely wet. It was like grabbing a full bucket of water and pouring it on my camera. Nikk decided to leave along with his friends. It was just Dillian, Carl, and I left. After taking a few pictures, we decided to just head out. Overall I wasn't pleased due to the weather and my camera being wet. I'm still unsure about my camera, although it works fine for now, but I wanted that one photo no matter what it took me. Sometimes you gotta go to the extreme.

Instead of using the same lightning technique, I tried something different. I must say, turned out a lot better thank expected. Some photos of my recent pick up, Nike Dunk Woman Splatters. Not to mention some photos of 1998 Black & Red XIII's & 2001 Snakeskin XI's.
